y do cats dislike other cats so much , my brother asks Answers at Dogster Answers.

Cats are like people. Sometimes when you meet someone, you might not like them. Or, they could become your best friend. I have 3 cats who were not raised together. Two of my cats came to me as adults. All my cats get along, but if a strange cat comes into our yard, they will growl and hiss.

Unless the cats have been together since they were babies they will dislike other cats. Cats are very territorial.

Not all cats get along, just like people. But, lots of cats do along. I have six cats, 4 boys and 2 girls. The boys get along great. One of my girls like 3 of my boys and my other girl doesn't like any of them. Cats are territorial, but if you get them fixed alot of the aggresion goes away.
