Update on "Cat acting weird? Very worried?"

Today she's moved around bit, and shes purring when I pet her. When I woke up she had been walking around, as my dad woke me up cause she was at the door. Shes laying down now, but still won't use that leg. I also found that on her right side, her whiskers look like someone cut them off, and I found one bald spot, completely free of fur, on her cheek, and one on her leg. Does this mean she's been hit? My brother says shes just been in a fight. Please, I know I need to take her to the vet, but with turkey day, and my mom being sick, I don't think I can. Also, she won't eat or drink yet.

Cats who won't eat or drink are very sick kitties. She does need to be taken to a vet ASAP or she could die before it becomes convenient for you to go.

Also, cats do purr when they are in a lot of pain. Poor sweetie.

When a family adopts a kitty, it is the responsibility of the entire family to take care of the kitty. It sounds to us like you're on your own here with your cat. Even if, as your brother says, she's "just" gotten into a fight, she still needs to go to the vet. I understand your mom is ill, and you may need to look to your dad to help you get your kitty to the vet. If she has no vet, now is a good time to find one. And, if she isn't spayed, please ask your parents to do so right now. Being a responsible pet owner, whether you are a kid or an adult, means hands-on care of the animal you adopt including medical care when the animal needs it including, most importantly, not continuing to add to the overpopulation of homeless animals in our country.
