As long as your cat is not spayed, she can get pregnant well into her senior years. The older cats are when they get pregnant, the chance of a "bad" pregnancy goes up. Kittens are born dead, the mother cat suffers, it takes a lot out of her, all in all not a good situation. Unspayed females also have more of a chance on contracting cancers of their "female organs". What can you do? Find a spay/neuter clinic by calling a vet or reading the newspaper or going online to www.petfinder.com and checking with local shelters to find our where one is located. They do spays and neuters at a cheap price. If she's already pregnant, she needs to go to the vet and you need to find out what to do for her and the eventual kittens.
