Should I euthanize all my cats?

Somecat got into the spaghetti sauce two weeks ago. Nocat is showing any signs of vomiting, constipation, or lethargy. They have all been checked by the vet. But I have been advised by Catsters to euthanize all my cats to spare them any pain. I do not understand this. Surely the cats who licked the sauce would be showing symptoms by now. If I must euthanize my cats, I will feel compelled to die too. Is this really good advice?

your vet knows your cats-also, your vet is THERE. i do not understand why you were given this advice-surely there was some misunderstanding, some breakdown of communication somewhere?
in short, keeping it simple, this is NOT good advice. indeed, it makes very little sense and i am at a loss as to how that conclusion was reached. trust your own good sense. trust your vet. calm down. and hug your kitties. purrs & whisker tickles.

WHAT??? Why would you euthanize your cats if they are alright? If your vet has checked them out and they are not ill, why would you even think that you should euthanize them? I have had to have two cats euthanized in the past three years. One had chronic renal failure and cancer and the second one had cancer. They stopped eating and would barely be able to walk because they were so ill. Those are reasons to euthanize a pet - not because they got into some spaghetti sauce that you left out for them to get into. Stop being careless and you won't have such problems!!! It's that easy!

You have gotten wrong advice dear. I've never heard of such nonsense. Anyone give that kind of advice should be punished. Only if a cat is in terrible distress and the vet says nothing can be done and then and only then must that be considered.

caster isnt vet professional advice...please please reconsider this. cats are curious little things. that will get into ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Heck mine chews on plastic bags if i leave one out in the open. i have to shew her away and then she stands there and looks at me like "WHAT"?? lol i am pretty sure that Spaghetti sauce made them sick to there tummies.. and thats all.. if your vet gave them a clean bill of health i would go with the vets advice....
