When giving supplements to ourselves or our cats, we need to be very careful. At the least we are just voiding it out in the urine and it does no good. At the worst, an overdose of a supplement or vitamin can cause poisoning. Cat should be evaluated by her vet to make sure she's prescribed what, if anything, she needs. Being "pretty sure" she has a condition doesn't mean she should be home-treated for it. She needs a definitive diagnoses by a trained veterinary professional, be it holisitic or other. Senior cats, like Senior humans, need to visit their vet more frequently just to make sure all is well.
