The Nebelung is a rare cat breed. The only way to know a cat's breed is to know it's family tree or pedigree. So you'll need to know your cat's parents, grandparents and great grandparents and they all need to be Nebelungs.

However there are certain physical markers that set this breed apart, like green eyes and silver tipped fur. If your cat has yellow eyes and the fur is a solid color, then s/he isn't a Nebelung.
