new male attacks our female
our srayed female cat is afraid to got outside because a new neutered male moved in next door.he is bigger than her and when he sees her he goes right after her,sometimes coming away with a mouthfull of fur.he has even attacked dogs passing by on a leash. He is very freindly to us and our male lab and seems like a nice cat.is there something we can do to help thse two become social or at least tolerant of each other????

The neighbor's cat sounds extremely territorial and it's unlikely that he and your cat would ever get along. Is it possible to keep yours indoors? If not, it might be best if she goes outside only with you so you can chase the male cat away.
