My cats likes to Travel?
My cat likes to travel and go on errands with me. She'll sleep in my bike basket, purse and backpack. She never bothers anything in my bags, just like to ride and sleep in them. I take her to petsmart with me, I have a leash for her but it's never really needed. She just rides in the basket/bag or perches on my shoulders. She never acts scared. she doesn't have separation anxiety when I leave with out her. She acts like a happy cat at home or out and about. Am I over thinking this? I always bring a water bottle and treats with me just in case. Do I just have a travelling kitty? (Tried to post this before and it didn't post, please delete if it duplicated)

I think it's great that Penny is so bonded with you and so social! She seems very comfortable "in her own fur"! Whatever you are doing with her, you are doing it right! However, I would use the leash when you go out, not so much to control Penny, but to keep her safe. You never know, when you go to PetsMart, who will be there. If a large dog or even a little one with a bad attitude lunges as her, she could react by taking off. Stranger things have happened and I would never say that this wouldn't happen at some time. Concats on having what sounds like a great relationship with your baby!
