Cats can have a whole laundry list of skin issues. It can be caused by allergies to food or other things in their environment. I use a "zoom groom" (rubber brush) on Delilah when she starts to show some dandruff, but it's never been that bad. Because we have no way of diagnosing your cat or suggesting treatment when we don't know why he has such bad dandruff, at least call your vet to ask what you should do. Purrs!
