my cat disappeared and now she is acting weird
my cat disappeared for two days, we found her around the house and had to bring her inside. now she is very skittish and gives us alot more affection. she has no external signs of being hurt and i just dont know what to do.

She wasn't wearing a "kitty-cam", so it's impossible to know what she went through outside while she was missing. She could have been attacked, abused or just plain frightened of being outside. She may not have external signs of being injured, but if this behavior continues for much longer, I would at least contact your vet by phone for further direction. Keep your routine as normal as possible. If she isn't a lap cat, don't force her into contact with you. If she wants pets and lovies, give her as much as she wants plus maybe a little extra food and treats. She's probably just weirded out by her experience and needs your reassurance that everything is OK.

She got scared and afraid because she was lost and lonely! If you have got lost for two days, I believe that you would felt the same. Now, she is happy because she is back. She is looking for attention and affection because she felt abandoned. You should pet her and show her all your love. After she feels secure and loved again, she’ll behavior as usual.
Although you believe that she wasn’t hurt, you should pay attention to some aspects: 1) When you pet her does she demonstrate pain or discomfort? 2) Does she have signs of bites or scratches? 3) Is she eating or drinking water less then usual? 4) Is she losing weight? If you answer YES for some of these questions, she should go to the vet.
