My 1 year old Sally has a swollen tail and is limping.

My 1 year old Sally baby is limping a little and favoring her rear. Usually very frisky and playful, but not soo much now. She is indoor only, up to date on her shots. Monday the vet took an xray and saw nothing unusual. They said her tail is super swollen, Said maybe it is a bug bite, spider bite. She is not getting better with the meds they gave me. Any suggestions on what this is?? Help please

Poor Sally! We don't have any idea of what this could be, but if she's been treated for days and isn't showing any major improvement it's your right and your duty to give your vet a call and report that there hasn't been a change in her condition. If they were treating her on a best guess and their guess is wrong they may have a second guess they'll want to try treating her for, or at least have a second look soon to see if anything has changed and there is something more concrete to be found and diagnose now.
