kitten too naughty?
Our kittens turned 8 weeks a couple of days ago and they will be soon going to their new homes. All of them are playful but there is one who is extremely naughty. She likes to attack my foot.. basically jump on anything I have in my hand.. sometimes tries to bite my hand, tries to hang on clothes etc. I know kittens are very playful but is this normal or is she showing aggression? She doesn't seem angry because she always purrs when i pick her up etc.
I always pull her away when she does something like this but I don't want her to behave this way with her new owners!

If you've ever watched a group of preschool children, you'll observe that there's always (at least) 1 who's off the wall. When you adopt her out, you will need to be very thorough in your questioning of the prospective family. She would be a good match with someone who has experience with cats/kittens. I would not adopt her to a family with young children. I would counsel the family that she must be trained not to "attack" or bite. Make sure they have a vet on board who can advise them how to train the kitten to be a good family member. I doubt seriously if she is showing true aggression since, although kittens will react negatively if threatened, most kittens are just full of mischief. Let the adopter know that if they find they cannot handle the kitten, you will take her back.
