Is it too late to have the front claws removed at 2yrs?

dont do it, that ruins your cats life when u de claw them. well, in a sence. thats one thing they have to protect themselves. thats like telling someone im going to take off your foot. they need there claws.

Strongly advise against declawing. It's not removing claws, it's amputating each toe up to the first joint. It's very painful and can cause cats to stop using the litter box (because they think the box is causing the pain) and become biters (because they lack their first line of defense). It also changes the way they walk and can lead to sore ligaments and arthritis. If you're having problems with furniture scratching, there's lots of information on the web about how to train your cat to use a scratching post. You could also apply Soft Paws. Ask your vet about them.
