If I let my cat outside will she come back?

Kiwi is very young and probably not able to take care of herself.

It's not a good idea to let cats outside, no matter how old they are. There are too many dangers for them (dogs, coyotes, bad people, other cats). Also, unless she's been spayed, you run the chance of an unwanted litter of kittens to find homes for.

Tia is absolutely right. I've had 2 outdoor kitties and both have been killed outside. If there is any way you can keep this baby inside, please do so. You will not regret it. To be honest, both my outdoor kitties came back in at night when they were called, but both got killed during the daytime hours. Kitties do NOT need to go outside. If they are not used to being outside, they will not miss it. Keep them inside!

There are no guarantees that she'll come back and there are no guarantees that she'll be safe either. Keep your kitty inside!!
