I need some chunky style wet food pouches for kittens?
My kittens like chunky style wet food pouches. I used to give them ones for kittens by nutro but when i was at the petstore last time it said it was discontitnted. The wet food pouches from nutro. The only other wet food pouches for kittens i have found is whiskas. Does anyone know of any brand that sells chunky style pouches for kittens that is healtheir than whiskas?

I did a seach on Petfooddirect.com because you can usually find ALL cat foods there especially if it's something you can't find locally and are willing to pay shipping. But they do not show ANY kitten formula wet foods that are sold in a pouch except the Nutro which is out of stock. I was thinking that maybe just your store had discontinued it but it looks like maybe it's really just gone. Are you opposed to cans? There's lots of cans. But I have been reading about some possible links to illnesses like hyperthyroid due to something with the seals on the pop top kind and I can see why you would prefer the pouch. I was feeding nothing but Wellness myself but my Chelsea is ill and lost a ton of weight. She loves Fancy Feast dry so as much as I don't want them to have it, she shall have what she will eat even if it's like feeding McDonalds. I think we try too hard to do the right thing. In my case it's not what was best if it contributed to Chelsea's weight loss. Good luck!

My cats loved the nutro in pouches, and I was disappointed to see them discontinued.
After asking I discovered the food line itself isn't gone, they've just put it in cans and gotten rid of the pouches (costs?). If you want the quality nutro food, you'll have to deal with the cans.
Whiskas is the only other pouch I've seen, and isn't the best quality, but you could do some searching at other stores and on-line.
Good luck!

Yes, Wellness makes a great grain free pouch! My cat can only have grain free food and it's a little more costly for the Wellness, but it is worth it. She is healthier and her fur and skin show it. My vet was quite impressed because I nursed this cat back to good health after someone dumped her in my neighborhood two years ago. She was on death's door with pancreatitis (we think) from eating something bad outside. If you can afford it, you should give the Wellness a try. Best of luck.
