I made a mistake about kitten food...

Regarding Socko's question about when to start feeding adult food--I had a senior moment and said "six months." Silly me. As the other posters said, it's usually recommended that you feed kitten food until the cat is a year old. No one mentioned that there are also some foods that are meant for all stages of growth, but if you're not feeding one of those, go with the kitten food. My bad.
