He looks like he is about 2 months old.

If you take him to a vet they'll be able to look at his teeth and tell exactly how old he is. Ask your mum. Most vets do a "kitten package" that covers a couple of check-ups, worming, vaccinations and spay/neuter so you can get everything done and its cheaper. If money is tight many SPCA/Humane Society/Rescue Groups do low cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinics.

De Do looks really cute and is lucky to have found you.

Your kitten is so cute.

Please make sure you get this little one to the vet ASAP for deworming, vaccines and a check up.

QUINCY

It is easy to tell a kitten's age by their teeth when they are less than 6 wks. old and don't have them all yet, and again at 5-6 mos. when the adult teeth start comming in.
The best way to guess age after 6 wks. is usually through weight. The rule of thumb for kittens is that they gain a pound a month. So your kitten would be 8 wks. old if it weighs around 2 lbs. Of course, this is only a guess. If the kitten is underweight from illness or malnutrition, is the runt of the litter (or is unusually big), or had larger or smaller than normal parents, they may be older or younger than the weight would show.

Your vet would probably have the best guess as to his age. Good Luck and concatulations on your new family member!!
