Like most vitamins and minerals, EsterC supports the immune system and is not a cure for a problem that is already there. I've never heard of giving a cat vitamin C in any case for any illness. If your cat has blood anyplace it doesn't belong, she needs to be seen by a professional and not dosed and/or treated at home. In getting a professional opinion and treatment, at least you will be secure in the knowledge that you are not doing more harm than good by treating her yourself.

Go to a vet. If you were peeing blood you'd see a doctor not start taking vitamins. Give your cat the same decency and have her/him checked out. Urinary tract infections can be very painful as well as can be damaging to other organs (kidneys). Also in male cats blockages can occur which can be life threatening. Please see the vet asap!
