Egyptain mau breed?

My mom has mentioned before that she thinks I am an exotic breed or at least have some in me (both me and my sister). She was reading about the Egyptian Mau breed and it said that they are the only breed of cat that actually have spots on their skin, not just on their coat. My sister and I just got fixed on June 1st and where we were shorn we have spots on our skin. Do we possibly have Egyptian Mau in us?
