DOES DE-WORMER MAKE CATS HAVE DIARRHEA???

MY KITTY HAD DIARRHEA AND I FOUND A WORM IN IT.SO I GAVE HER ONE OF THOSE HIGH POWERED DE-WORMERS. HALF BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE VET TOLD ME. N SHE HAS BEEN GOING POTTY EVERYWHERE. LIKE IT JUST COMES OUT. SHE CANT HELP IT. =( IM WORRIED. IM NOT SURE WHERE TO GO FROM HERE. ID IT THE DE-WORMER WORKING THE GOOP OUT OF HER? OR IS IT SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS? HELP!!!

Where to go from here? Straight to the vet. If you used a store-bought dewormer, that could be the problem. Kitties can crash very quickly when they have diarrhea, even more quickly if your cat is very young. Diarrhea is not normal, especially to the extent that you have described. Since this is a holiday weekend, call your vet as soon as possible and get her in. Tell them you need to be seen now and they will be able to fit you in. Good luck and let us know how she's doing.
