			<p>An estimated 4-5 million animals are euthanized in shelters every year because homes can't be found for them. By allowing your cat to have kittens, you are contributing to this sad statistic.

Spaying also has numerous health benefits. Unspayed cats are far more likely to develop mammary cancer and uterine infections, both of which are deadly. Even going through one heat cycle greatly increases her chances of getting these diseases. Unspayed cats are also ruled by their hormones; they can get very mean when they're in heat.<br /><br />
