Diarrhea

My cat was just neutered on Friday afternoon. We are now entering 72 hours since surgery. He has a great appetite and has been drinking water. But he still has diarrhea when will this go away.?

Is he on antibiotics? That can cause diarrhea; it ends when the medication is finished.
