Conflicted on adopting any suggestions?
So I got Ayla about a month ago, she was a feral cat that I adopted when she was found outside at only 4 weeks old. She is absolutely the loveof my life. I am surprised at how much we love eachother and how affectionate we are to eachother, I thought cats weren't necessarily like that. I have been trying to find a friend for her and have been waiting to adopt anoter girl kitten in a week or two. The lady has been a bi skiddis with the girl kitten and doesn't always get back to me. Recently I have found these2 boy kittens that are 4 months old. I have a feeling that I should adopt them but I don't know. They are 2 months older than Ayla. And they are boys. Will Ayla be left out bcause they have been together since birth? Is 2 boys and a girl a good idea or bad? Should I just wait for the girl kitten who will be closer to her age? Is 3 kitties over board? Help please I need this nagging feeling to go away????

Cats have different personalities, some are more loving than others. Boy and girls kitties can get along great together and be best friends. The sex doesn't matter. There is a chance that the two boys will be so close that they will not always play with Ayla. Also, there is a chance they will welcome another playmate. They are used to having someone to play with. Just because they've been together since birth, doesn't mean they are real close to eachother. Only two months age difference shouldn't matter, they are all young and playful. The other girl kitty would also be a good choice. I have 4 boys and 2 girls, so I don't think 3 is too much. This depends on how you feel and what you can afford. I always say cats are like potato chips, you can't have just one.

Rex is right. I have three cats and would love to have more if finances permitted. Izzie is the most playful of the three and he will chase Delilah and Lily. Sometimes they play, sometimes they just hang out together. If you have any reservations about this person you want to adopt the female kitten from, I would not adopt from her. Also, if you adopt these males, make sure you get them neutered as soon as you can. That will help the social situation a lot between the cats. Adopting from a rescue or a shelter is your best idea when you already have a cat at home. The staff knows their cats and can match you and Ayla with a cat who will fit the best into your home. They can also provide advice on how to introduce the new cat(s) to the resident cat, and if it doesn't work out, you always have the option of returning them.
