		<description>Whenever Rocky wakes up from a nap he streches and then he begins to claw and scratch the chair near his shoebox! We have tried the kitty cardboard toys and putting cta nip on it but it still does'nt work.

			<p>my kitten layla does this alot too, you should try and put the tape on it like the other person said, or buy her a scratching post and put it their, i guess this is pretty normal for cats/kittens<br /><br />

			<p>There is a tape that you can put on furniture, cats don't like it and won't scratch. Put this where Rocky scratches. Also, buy a cat scratching post and put it where the chair is. Put some catnip on it, and he should start using the post. There are all kinds of scratching posts, big and small. Some have carpet and some have sisal. <br /><br />
