Cat in the bed!
It really means the world to me when my Trent shares my bed! He used to go outside and play all night, running and chasing, but lately (possibly thanks to the cold weather) he has come and slept in my bed every night! He is not a purrer but lately he will get on the bed, knead, purr and headbutt! It makes me so happy. I just wanted to know if anybody else is like this, does it make you SO EXCITED when you hear your cats little bell tinkling at your doorway to come in?

Auntie Mom's two present cats are total love bugs and sleep with her every night.
When I was on earth I never was much of a cuddler but the time I lived with Auntie Mom, I did sleep on the corner of her bed and it made her happy to know that I trusted her enough to sleep close.

Yes, our cat sleeps with us on occasion. She has her own bed which she also uses. It depends on her mood. Sometimes she comes in our room and jumps on the bed at 4:00 a.m. and starts kneeding on my husband. She'll sleep right on his backside so that he can't even roll over. She is very loving with me when I am on my computer. She wants to lay in my lap and be held and cuddled like a little baby. I do enjoy those moments!

There's nothing better than trying as much as you can to make a good life for a beloved pet and having them show you love such as Trent is doing for you. I was reading Izzie's diary entries from way back when I rescued him and I got teared up when I read about the first time he thought I was OK, conquered his fear and came and sat on my lap. Sometimes I wonder if I have ever loved any of my animals as much as I love him! He's not a "cuddler"--he hates to be kissed and hugged, but he will "honor" me with his presence by laying on my lap and sleeping all evening. Knowing that he trusts me is wonderful! Many purrs and headbonks right back to Trent from us here at "The Zoo"!

Rider sleeps with me every night. Linus also sleeps with me, but usually does not stay very long.

Cooper was such a cuddle bug the night we brought him into our lives he never left my side i was so excited i couldnt sleep and he wouldnt move a muscle exept kittens twitch a lot
all of our cats were cuddle bugs right here at the Knicely home there was only 2 cats that havent cuddled with me during the night those cats were Scarlet(which i didnt really have a connection with since we didnt really get along Scarlet would only come to me when she wanted attention and she didnt let me scratch her head for very long just a couple minutes then she would get growlly at me the swat at me), and Lealu who always slept by my door before she died we never knew what happened to Lealu but she is in a much better place sitting right next to God getting all the love from him until we see her again now the cats sleep by the window or on their little couch or with my parents so no snuggles for me not for a while

I adore it. The boys only get in bed in the morning to surround my legs to tell me it's breakfast time and my older cat sleeps on the edge of the bed. She used to sleep right next to my head until one day she ran away. I rescued two new kitties in the meantime and she came back. She hasn't slept close since and I miss it so much. Breaks my heart. I have a belief that she wards off bad dreams.
