Can kittens eat sardines?
He's three months old and my dad keeps insisting we give him them as a treat but I don't know if they're good for him.
I don't want to give him anything that would be bad for him.
My main concern is the bones in them.

Sardines are an excellent treat for a cat as they contain lots of fish oils that are good for cats of any age. I don't think concerns about bones should prevent you from giving your kitten a healthy and tasty treat :-) If you are worried about bones, you could always check the portion carefully and pick any bones out. This is what our mama does when we get our weekly tinned tuna *yummy* ^_^
While sardine and other tinned fish is very nutritious, avoid the brine versions as they are too high in salt. Try to go for fish in oil or spring water instead. Also, please try to limit these fishy treats to once a week as too much fish is bad for kitty and you may end up with a sardine addict on your hands!

Feed a premium food like science diet. But if grandad wants to slip in a sardine let him scoop the box. Or clean up puke whichever comes first lol
