Cats can be spayed while in heat, but not all vets will. You're best best is to call around to find one. It's usually more costly than spaying when not in heat. But if your cats get out and get pregnant, this will be more costly in the long run. Cats should be spayed or neutered at 6 months or even earlier if they start showing signs of sexual maturity.

You have left it a little late I am afraid. You best consult your vet to see what can be done. Even if you allow your cats to have kittens now, you may find it difficult to have them spayed between having kittens and the start the next heat.

Yes, cats can be spayed while in heat. Take them to a veterinarian immediately before you end up with pregnant cats and more of an expense. You need to be proactive and put the money out now. Otherwise, you will have pregnant cats, kittens and more expensive vet bills. Needless to say, you will need more cat/kitten food, cat litter, supplies, etc. The longer you wait, the more expensive everything will end up costing you. In this economy no one is too anxious to adopt kittens due to job uncertainty and the possibility of having to move and not being able to, or allowed to, take their pets with them. Best wishes.

Yes, they can be spayed while in heat. It's a more complicated surgery than when they're not in heat but in an adult cat its difficult to spay between heats as they come on so frequently. If your regular vet won't do it, call around and you'll find one who will.

Yes, cats can be spayed while in heat. Most vets prefer not to do it unless the cat is out of heat for a minimum 14 days because the animal runs the risk of a secondary infection.
