Biting new baby kitty

I got a new little brother(he is 6 weeks old) I just love to bite him in the neck and tummy. Mom is not sure if I am playing or will hurt him. He does cry a bit but I cant stop. Mom never leaves us alone because of this. My brother saw the vet yesterday and he said we shouldnt be left alone either untill he is bigger. But mom hates locking Loki in the bathroom when shes not around. He plays alot.
