Nothing I've read would indicate that roses are poisonous to cats, unless it's an outdoor rose that has been sprayed with insecticide. Some plants ARE poisonous, though, as are chocolate, onions, garlic and an ingredient in gum called "sorbitol". You can find a list of plants that are poisonous at www.aspca.org.
