In your previous question, you asked if it was OK to let Haley outside. It sounds like even though the posters answered your question by saying "no way!", you did anyway. Since, in people years, Haley is over 120 years old, we hope you're supervising her VERY carefully while she's out there, especially since she's blind. Any time a cat eats something that's not food, there are issues. There's a disease called "pica" that causes animals (and people) to eat things like dirt, paper, etc. But, that's rare. Chances are there's something on or in the concrete that's appealing to the cats. But that doesn't mean it won't hurt them. If it were me, I wouldn't allow it. Chase them away and make sure they have plenty of water to drink out there.
