12 day old kitten sick?
I'm worried about a kitten I was given last week..he's only 12 days old and this morning I noticed he had bloody diarrhea so I took him straight to the vet. They said he had a stomach infection & gave me some antibiotics to give him everyday, he also had a high temperature. Right now he's sleeping a lot, he's usually very vocal but has been very quiet this afternoon, he's still moving around and still eating a little. The vet said he wasn't really dehydrated. Please, I'm so worried I don't want to lose him. Has anyone ever had this experience before? Will he be ok? Any advice would help

Aw, I'm sorry about your tiny sick kitten.
You did the right thing taking him to the vet right away, and I'm glad you were able to get a diagnosis. I would suggest following the instructions of your vet EXACTLY, and keep a VERY close eye on him throughout the night and next day. If possible, check on him every hour or two and make sure there aren't any changes for the worse. Check to see that he awakens easily and doesn't seem listless or overly groggy. Make sure he is still eating and drinking. Gently pull the skin on the back of his neck and make sure it springs back into shape. If it doesn't, that is an indication of dehydration, which can be a very serious problem in such a young kitten and can progress very quickly even though he wasn't dehydrated when he visited the vet. If ANYTHING changes for the worse, call the vet or emergency vet immediately!
