Coby the cat is a white fluffball with striking blue eyes who’s living it up in Maryland. Through his hit Instagram account, this classic British Shorthair broadcasts his adventures to a sterling army of followers around the world. Here’s what you need to know about this social media star’s vital stats.

The first thing that strikes you about Coby is his captivating blue eyes. Those things literally sparkle like a pair of high-end sapphires.

It’s no surprise that his owner says she “fell in love with his blue eyes” as soon as she caught their gaze and even named this kitty after the color cobalt blue.

“His eyes are amazing in person, and he’s so expressive,” she adds. “It’s hard to say no to him when he looks up at me!”

Coby’s Instagram bio boasts that he enjoys “playing with my ducky in the tub.”

Really?

Yep, apparently this is one cat who enjoys getting his paws wet.

“He will jump into a bathtub or sink any chance he gets,” says his owner with a laugh. “He loves to splash around and even hold his head under the running faucet until he’s soaking wet!”

Checking out Coby’s Instagram reveals a kitty who is always “ready and willing to partake in silly costume photos.”

When it comes to coaxing cats into costumes, Coby’s owner explains, “I would never put him in something that he was struggling to get out of or seemed uncomfortable wearing. I would advise other cat owners to stick to comfortable costumes that are easy to put on. Oh, and rewarding him or her with a treat doesn’t hurt!”

On a day-to-day basis, Coby’s owner says he loves to follow her around everywhere. “He greets me at the door when I come home,” she reveals, “and even waits outside the shower until I’m done! He’s my little sidekick, and I love having him around all the time.”

When not following his owner around or hamming it up for his Instagram followers, you’ll find Coby enjoying such classic pursuits as chasing feathers, staring intently at birds outside the window, hopping along in a bunny-esque fashion, and doing his duty to snoop in the refrigerator.
