Persian cats are among the more popular purebred felines. Therefore, there are quite a few breeders spread throughout Massachusetts who specialize in this breed. You typically shouldn’t have a problem finding a breeder, though you may have to wait a while for a kitten that suits your needs.

If you’re looking for one of these round-faced felines, take a look at this breeder’s list.

The 4 Persian Cat Breeders in Massachusetts

1. Lionzden Cattery

Lionzden Cattery

📍Revere, Massachusetts

This cattery focuses on producing show cats. Therefore, many of their kittens are kept in their breeding program. However, they do regularly sell pet kittens. Many of their cats meet conformation standards.

This cattery has two different locations, with the other one being in Florida. They also breed Exotics and Himalayans. They do interview and screen all buyers, as they are particular about the placement of their kittens.

2. East Coast Persians and Himalayans

East Coast Persians and Himalayans

📍 Winchester, Massachusetts

While this breeder isn’t as active as some others, they do produce litters. Their kittens are moderately priced and sold with a contract. All their cats and kittens are Cat Fanciers’ Association registered. You can put in a deposit to reserve any kitten.

3. Old Castle Breeders

Old Castle

📍 Monson, Massachusetts

Old Castle is a small cattery that focuses on providing a clean and safe environment for the felines. All kittens receive proper handling from the day that they are born, ensuring that they are well-socialized and friendly.

Every kitten comes with a written health guarantee. They also have many different color options.

4. Crystal Pond Breeders

Crystal Pond

📍 Central Massachusetts

Crystal Pond is a small cattery that focuses on producing Calico Persians. They provide a few kittens to pet homes, though most of their cats end up with other breeds. They keep their Persians pure, unlike other breeders that mix Himalayans or Exotics into the bloodline.

This breeder only produces about one to two litters per year, so getting a kitten can be a bit difficult.
