purrrrrrrrr therapy

welp, my human is sick! i noticed a few days ago she kept running to the bathroom in the night coughing and stuff. it definitely disturbed my sleeping at the foot of the bed, so i just got up and slept on the floor. then she almost stepped on me! geez-o-pete! cant a cat get some sleep around here!?! well, then yesterday she came home in the middle of the day--it was weerd! she went right to her bed and the sun was still shining. then i felt badly! anytime she comes home at strange times, i always get worried. and being in the bed when its not dark is definitely not a good thing! so i jumped up on her bed and slowly crawled up on her tummy. she likes that :) i know im a big kitty, but i just stretch out over her chest and tummy and PURR PURR PURR! then she pets me heaps and i know it makes her feel better =)=) despite all her annoying human traits (like not cleaning my poopybox enough! UH-HEM!), she does a lot for me...so i guess i should do my part and help make her get better!

trash diggin!

boy, was i sure worried yesterday. my human started moving her bedroom furniture around!! and the next thing i knew there were boxes, bags, clothes, and all sorts of other stuff to sniff and bat at laying around! she was sitting in the floor of her closet amongst some more stuff (right on cali's warm spot, too!) and i sat in front of her with the biggest, worried eyes possible. she laughed and petted me, and then i got the answer i was looking for--WHEW! "don't worry deet," she said, "we're not moving yet, buddy!" i guess she was doing what humans call "spring cleaning." it was great, tho, cause there were PILES of clothes all over the bed for me to wallow in :):) then i couldnt take it because i saw SO MANY paper grocery bags and black plastic bags and i just HAD to stick my head in every one of them! my human called me a "nibby nose!" what does that mean? is there something wrong with my nose?? oh well...oooooh i love junk :):)

well, the last week has been one of my "fasting weeks" as my humans call it. usually once a month or so, i get furballs, and i dont eat much for a few days until they pass. last week i felt pretty sluggish and yesterday was the worst! my girl human has done most everything she can to help me thru those days; i can tell she worries about me cause i'm not my usually meowy self and i dont greet her at the door! well, today she did something different and wow did it make a difference!! she grew me some wheat grass. MMWRROORWW i love it! she knows i love chewing plants and i heard her say that it's cause that's a cat's natural way to help alleviate furballs plus it is also really nutritious for me (i guess she grows it for herself and takes the juice out of it! eww!). well, i munched onna bunch of that grass and i instantly felt better! i even felt like eating, and havent even thrown it up. i recommend it to all of you furball sufferers, or even to others for a great pick-me-up! =)
have a fun weekend! i've been soaking up the sun by the window, even tho it's still really cold outside. the little chippies (chipmunks) have made their way out from their underground homes, so ive also been watching them stuff their faces with seeds and corn and peanuts! meowmeow soon! --deet :):)
