It’s a Wrap with Chic Cat Scarves for Spring

We're all about larger-than-life but light-as-air scarves this season. Here are the kitty prints we're pulling our pocketbooks out for.

Big, billowy scarves are on trend at the moment, and if you’re going to wear one, then why not do it up in feline style? Jason Wu created a gorgeous silk chiffon scarf emblazoned with his black cat muse, Milu, for his recent Target collection, and Silken Favours made an equally fabulous feline scarf coveted by cat ladies everywhere.

If you weren’t able to get your paws on these limited-edition pieces before they sold out, there are still plenty of styles to keep you covered this spring.

I’m currently besotted with the Picasso Cat Scarf — a pastel dream in baby pink and blue –– by Leah Goren, the Tabby Print Silk Scarf by Olivia Mew of Feverfew, and the Cat Face Print Silk Scarf by Timney.

Unlike a knit scarf, whose primary function is bundling up for warmth, the silk scarf is the chameleon of the fashion world, purrfect for draping around your neck, tying to a purse strap, or fashioning into a chic head wrap.

The only question that remains is: How are you going to wear it?
