Yes, cats rule the internet, but why can’t they rule snail mail, too? I’m a huge fan of giving and receiving holiday cards featuring my friends’ and families’ cats, dogs, parrots and other furry and feathered family members. They never fail to make me smile, and they don’t bring up any non-seasonal feelings of keeping up with the Joneses. (Really? They just had to pose at their brand-new beach house in matching swimsuits?!)
And apparently, I’m not the only one who thinks like this, with Minted finding that 13 percent of its customers feature pets on their holiday cards (and 4 percent of those are cats!).
This year Minted has some new cards, one of which will be sure to fit your pawticular kitty’s personality. Pictured above is Warm Fuzzies. And it gets better, as Minted also has photo gifts for that hard-to-surprise family member. There’s no dashing through the snow, just go online to minted.com.
