What does your cat really do when you’re not home? Now you can find out with this cloud-driven video camera. It weighs only 4 ounces, and its small 31⁄2-inch size makes it easy to discreetly place in your home.
I put it on our mantel and found that no one noticed it was there until I pointed it out. The video was quite clear (720p hD), and I really liked the wide 115-degree viewing angle. The camera features display night vision with distances as far as 30 feet and a built-in microphone for audio playback and recording. Its built-in smart motion detection sends an alert to your iOS or Android device via the free EZVIZ App when it detects motion, although you can set up a schedule to receive alerts when you want them.

The camera costs less than $70, and we bought three — ones for kitchen, living room, and bedroom – so we can check our pets no matter what room they’re in.
EZVIZ offers monthly and yearly subscriptions for its seven-day plan or its 30-day plan. (A piece of advice: Once you register your account, check your spam folder if you don’t get the verification code right away.)
The EZVIZ Mini is available at local retailers, including Sam’s Club, and online stores, such as Amazon. For more information, follow EZVIZ on Facebook.
