What Is KitNipBox?

Kit Nip Box - SAPR

KitNipBox is a subscription cat box service based in New York City, NY. It delivers toys and treats straight to your door every month. It offers two different subscription boxes that are suitable for single and multi-cat homes. KitNipBoxes are considerable options for kittens and playful cats that get bored easily. It offers a variety of toys with different sizes and textures and makes playtime all the more entertaining for cats.

KitNipBoxes doesn’t leave room for customizations, so it may not provide as fun of an experience for cats that are particularly finicky with their toy preferences. However, it offers a very low-commitment subscription plan. So, if you’re looking for new toys that you won’t easily find at pet store chains, KitNipBox is worth exploring.

What to Expect From KitNipBox

Signing up for a subscription is simple and can be completed within minutes. Once you finish signing up, your first order will automatically be shipped to you. You can expect your delivery to arrive within 3–8 business days after it’s been shipped. After that, you’ll receive your next box once a month. Your billing cycle will depend on what day your box is shipped. You can expect to be billed either on the 1st or 15th of the month.

Contents

Happy Cat Box Toys: At least 4 toys
Multi-Cat Box Toys: At least 5 toys
Happy Cat Treats: 1 bag of treats
Multi-Cat Box Treats: At least 1 bag of treats
Subscription Plan Options: Month-to-month

Variety of Toys

You can expect to receive all kinds of toys that you won’t find in larger pet retail stores. Some toys will contain catnip, while others have fun bells and crinkly material inside. KitNipBox does a great job of curating toys of varying sizes and textures while maintaining a fun monthly theme.

Substituting Treats

KitNipBox’s treats are sourced from reputable suppliers located in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Most of the treats are made with all-natural ingredients and are organic or grain-free. Treats are only delivered to addresses in the US.

If your cat has food allergies, you can opt to omit treats and replace them with an additional toy.

Easy Subscription Plan

KitNipBox has a no-strings-attached policy and makes cancellations easy. All your payments are billed monthly, either on the 1st or 15th of the month. If you’d like to cancel your subscription, you can edit your subscription through your online account. Just make sure to cancel at least 7 full business days before your next billing date. Any cancellations made in less than 7 business days won’t prevent that month’s subscription box from being delivered.

Lack of Customization Options

KitNipBox doesn’t offer very many customizations. You can choose to swap treats for toys if your cat has food allergies, but there isn’t an option to choose specific types of toys. Part of the appeal of KitNipBox is the surprise you receive every month, so it’s enjoyable for curious cats. However, if your cat is picky about its toys, it may not be as entertaining.

How to Sign Up

Signing up for a KitNipBox is quick and easy. All you have to do is complete a form on their website. You’ll choose your box type and enter your billing and shipping information, and then your first subscription box will be delivered within 3-8 business days after it’s been shipped.

Pricing

KitNipBox offers two different subscription boxes. Its standard Happy Cat KitNipBox is $22.99 a month, and its multi-cat KitNipBox is $32.99 a month. While shipping is free within the US, a shipping fee is applied to any address in Canada.

KitNipBox only has a monthly subscription plan, so you pay month-to-month, and there aren’t any options to pre-pay for multiple months at a discounted price.

In Summary

Our Experience with KitNipBox

I had a very positive experience with KitNipBox. I received a fall-themed box for my 14-year-old female cat. My cat can be quite playful, so I had high hopes for this box. It was a really enjoyable experience opening the box and looking at all the cute toys. I also noticed a strong catnip smell coming from the toys, which my cat appreciated a lot.

Watching my cat roll around the toys and bat them was fun, and she got a lot of exercise. I liked the variety of toys and how they were made with different materials and textures. I also got a bonus cat apron. The apron was very lightweight and had a cute design. Even though my cat didn’t enjoy wearing it, it was a cute and festive accessory to include.

Overall, I would recommend KitNipBox to cat owners. It’s also fun to open the box together and be pleasantly surprised by the contents. I was also impressed with how the toys excited my cat and how long she stayed entertained and played with them.
