Let’s help find forever homes for rescue cats who need special help like Buddy. Please share his story in hopes of finding him the perfect forever home and human.

One night during a storm, Buddy was found outside crying for help. A nice woman scooped him up and brought him inside out of the rain. Poor Buddy was limping badly and had bite marks on his legs. A visit to the vet found that Buddy was just a mess: a dislocated front shoulder, an infected bone in his front leg, a few bad teeth, eye issues, a missing toe on his front paw and an infection in another toe. Buddy had clearly been through a lot. Thanks to a fundraiser, Buddy got all the medical care he needed. Buddy has been with a wonderful foster family, but now it’s time to find him a forever home!
Buddy is a sweet, trusting, super affectionate boy. He loves being petted and cuddled. He’s only a year old, but has clearly had a rough start in life. He needs a family that will cherish and love him, and provide him with the care he deserves. He would probably be happiest in a quiet home with no small children. Buddy is good friends with the small dog in his foster home, so he would enjoy a home with another pet companion.
Buddy loves to eat, and he’s been neutered and received all his vaccinations.

Buddy appears to be a Marmalade. Every Marmalade I’ve ever seen the males are huge and the females are petite. Am I wrong?
