Oh my cat! I've gotten two DDPs! I think it's true that the diary gal sure loves litter box stories! MOL! Speaking of which, I have been using my litter box like normal, so I guess I have no lasting scars from my ordeal! :)
Thank you everyone for all the wonderful gifts and comments! Mom and I promise to do thank yous very soon.
And I would like to say thank you to my Secret Santa who sent me such a lovely Calvin Collar. I love my collar so much, I dig it out while mom is sleeping and play with it. :) Thank you Santa!
And one more thing, I have an exciting announcement to make! I think you guys might really enjoy it! I'll be making it in a day or two, so be on the lookout!

So today, mom scooped out my litter box, and when she was done, I decided I needed to use it. She was in a hurry and didn't want to wait for me though, so she tried to put the lid back on the box while I was inside. Well, she DROPPED the lid on me! It came crashing down, hitting me and trapping me inside!
I thrashed around and finally escaped! Whew! I guess mom will find out when she gets home if I'm now scared to use my box.

Mom put up her little Christmas tree and decorated it. I LOVE the Christmas tree! Mom didn't put it up last year, but the year before that she did, and after pulling it off the stand once, I left it alone. Mom was hoping I'd leave it alone this year.
But the tree, I LOVE IT! Have I mentioned how much I love it! I like to chew on its branches and rub against it and lick, lick, lick it.
Well I wouldn't leave it alone, so mom hid it in the closet while she slept. Well - you can't fool me! I knew where it was. So I sat down in front of the closet and cried. And cried. And I wouldn't leave my spot. My friend the Christmas tree was trapped inside the closet!
Tonight, my mom put the tree back up and I started licking and chewing. Mom has this silly idea that licking the branches isn't good for me and she was worried I might chomp a light. So do you know what she did?! SHE PUT THE TREE AWAY! What the heck mom?! It can't be Christmas without the tree! I wailed while she took the decorations down. It broke my mom's heart and she almost started crying. GOOD! I miss my Christmas tree friend. :(
Well, I'm to go make her feel bad some more. I hope your day is going better than mine.

Hi friends! I convinced my mom to let me do a Catmus card exchange! If any of you would like to exchange cards, please pawmail me your address.
One disclaimer, since I'm relaying on my mom to write the cards, and she's pretty bad at stuff like that, there's a pretty good chance they might not arrive by Christmas. :) But we promise to try to get them out in time!

Hi kitty friends! I've missed you guys so much. My mom is a slacker and hasn't come let me play as much as I want to. I know I've missed some special days and I tried to catch up, but it wasn't working. So please forgive me if I missed your honor. :(
Hopefully I'll be back more regularly now. How was everyone's Thanksgiving? I hope you all had fun and ate lots of food! I thought of lots of diary entries to write while mom was away, so hopefully I can convince her to type for me.
So tell me what you all have been up to!

Oh boy, kitties! Have I got a story for you! No, no, I didn't pull mom's TV down again. :) But as a side note, I have tried to do that again, but now it's attached to the wall, so I haven't been successful. Plus mom freaks out whenever I get close to the TV now.
But I digress.
So you know how my mom's sitting on dogs this week? Well, she must not have been doing her job very well. She's watching two dogs, and today she tried to take them for a walk.
Well, one dog didn't have a collar so she went to Walmart and bought a cheap one. As she tried to take the two dogs outside, the one with a new collar (a blue heeler mix) slipped out of the collar. Luckily that dog is pretty good at staying in the front yard. But mom still had to chase her for a long time before she was able to grab her and take her inside. Because my mom doesn't learn, this happened twice. (She says she thought she had gotten the collar tight enough.) So then, she takes the leash and fashions a loop out of it so they can still go on a walk. Well, that appears to be going fine until the other dog (a little pit bull-terrier mix) slipped out of her collar!!
Now the thing about this dog is she doesn't pay any attention to treats, and she just RUNS. She's really, really fast. One time she got out of the yard and took off. She was found almost two miles away.
So the dog TAKES OFF. Mom starts running, pulling the poor blue heeler along. Well mom was wearing flip-flops, despite NUMEROUS accidents and bad things happening when she tries to walk dogs in them. What can I say, she doesn't learn. One flip-flop fell off, and then mom kicked the other one off and was running up and down the street IN HER BARE feet for about six blocks. The dog would taunt her as she would get closer, standing and waiting till she was a few feet away and then taking off. Mom was FREAKING out because it's a fairly busy road, and the dog was almost to another very, very busy road.
Finally, another guy and mom tricked the dog into thinking she was going to go for a ride a truck, and mom was able to get the collar back on her. OH, she was SOOOO mad. But SO relieved everyone is OK. Except for her feet. Those hurt pretty bad.
So now the dogs are on house arrest, and there will be no more walks for the rest of the week.
HAHAHA! That's what she gets for abandoning me for dogs!

Hi friends! It sure has been quiet around here lately! Everyone must be getting ready for Thanksgiving.
I'm on my own for about a week, so you might not hear too much from me, either, for a few days. But I'll try to check in as often as I can. I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful holiday full of love and happiness! Take care everyone!

Hi friends - Mo's mom here. I need some advice from you guys.
So I just got back about a week ago from being gone for a week. (Mo got to stay at the kitty spa.) Well, starting at the end of this week, I'm dogsitting for a friend for another week. Mo doesn't do very well when I'm gone, and she gets very clingy and unhappy. She's still a little mopey from me being gone for a week.
Now, since I'll be staying at my friend's house, I'm wondering if on my days off I should bring Mo over there. I'll be watching two dogs and a cat. Mo has spent very little time around dogs, and never around these dogs. Or should I just leave her home? I'll be home each day to feed her and spend some time with her, but it won't be for very long.
Normally when I dog sit, I leave her at home, but I've never been gone so much in one month. I'm not sure which option would be less stressful for her.
Thanks for any advice!
