View from my window

I have to tell you all what I saw tonight from my window! An armed standoff with the SWAT team! Mom got home from the mall and as she was walking to the apartment, she noticed two police officers hiding around the corner of the apartment complex behind us, and two more hiding behind a big storage truck. We watched from the window as they would creep around the corner and then run back. Then mom noticed they pointed at an apartment with big rifles! That's when we got a little scared. She wouldn't let me sit on the windowsill anymore.

Mom watched a little longer and then three more officers came out of nowhere. She moved away from the window and heard *pop* *pop* *pop.* Oh my cats! Gunfire! We found out later that they actually shot bean bags into the apartment.

They were there for hours, and in the end, the apartment was empty! They're still looking for the suspect. Mom says we might have to think about moving since this isn't the first time something scary has happened by our apartment.

A no good, terrible, rotten week

It's raining here, the sky gray and sad - a perfect match to my mood today. This past week has been so devastating. I've lost so many good friends in such a short time - Henry, Hermie, Hazel Lucy and now Marrakech. It's just too much.

To my beautiful friends who have left for the bridge, please know how much I love you, and I'm keeping you and your families in my prayers. If there's any way I can help, please, please, don't hesitate to ask.

I love all my friends. You are all so amazing, and I hope you know how much you all mean to me.

I think I'm gonna go curl back up in bed. :(

Sad purrs.

A sad update

Oh kitties, I have some terrible news. My friend Henry didn't make it. :( My heart is just aching. I love him so much. Mom and I would wait up every night to read his diary entry before going to bed. We're just so sad.

I'm not sure what else to say. Rest in peace Henry. You'll be so very missed.

Emergency purrs needed for a friend!!

Everyone, could you please purr for my good friend Henry? He lives in the U.K. and was hit by a car. :( I'm so worried about him. He was one of my very first friends, and I'm just so worried. If you could pop over to his page and offer some support, I'm sure his mom would appreciate it.

I'm in so much trouble

Oh kitties, I am in the doghouse. I broke mom's brand new TV today. She's only had it for about six weeks and saved up lots of money for a long time to buy it.

I jumped onto the stand where the TV was and stood up, then took my front paws and brought the TV crashing down. It hit the corner of the stand, and even though the screen looks like it's ok, when you turn it on, it looks like someone threw a rock into the screen.

I could tell I was in big trouble cause I poofed out and skaddaddled my butt under the bed. I hope my mom can forgive me. And I'm going to miss watching Animal Planet. :(

A favor?

Hi friends -

I was wondering if I could ask for a favor? My human great-grandma is having a hard time with her eyes. She lost most of her vision to glaucoma last year, and now she's lost all her sight in one eye. She might need a cornea transplant.

If you have a spare purr, would you mind purring for her? She's such a wonderful lady. Normally, I wouldn't say anything about my human family, but I've seen such miracles on Catster, that I'm hoping for small one for one of my favorite humans.

What a week!

Hello everyone!

It has been a fantastic week! My Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl, and then I was picked to be Cat of the Week over at Kewlest Catster Kitties! Can you believe it? I'm so honored!

I hope everyone is having a great week! Oh, can everyone purr for my pal Ashlynne? She just found out she'll likely have to have her eye removed. :(

Winter blahs

Hello kitties!

I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy in this cold weather! Right now, it's minus 13 here! That's just too cold. But luckily, we haven't gotten any snow.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Mom said winter has been taking it out of her. She says she misses the sun. I asked her why she doesn't just sleep all the day like I do. She just glared at me. I was just trying to help.

Is every kitty ready for the Super Bowl? Who's everyone cheering for? I'm cheering for the Packers! I'm getting kinda nervous. I hope it's a good game!

Tag! And a special weekend!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited cause it's a special weekend! Tigger is hosting the Miss Kitty Memorial Mini Golf Tournament at Tigger's Arcade this weekend. I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun! Come join us!!

Everyone is playing tag, and I wanted to join in. I'm supposed to list five things my mom does that annoy me.

1. Closing the door to the bathroom at night. Mom! I need to check it out to make sure everything is OK and there are no monsters.

2. Not playing with me early in the morning. When I drop a soaking wet pipe cleaner on you, that means it's time to play!

3. Not giving me the bread she's eating. I love bread! Give me, give me, give me!

4. Trying to clip my toe nails. I've taken to slapping her across the face when she tries.

5. Making me move when I'm all comfy on the couch. Grrr. I was sitting there first! You find a different place to sit.
