nuttin much

Hi efuryone,

I'm sorry I have not been posting. My mama's got the winter blues (she's bipolar) and it's hard - oops should I say IMPOSSIBLE - sometimes to get her to even come ofur here. She transcribes my dictation so how can I get my stuff typed? MOL

Anyway, I haven't got anything very worthwhile to post. I think I did tell you all Susie's kittens are males. She may have had ofur kittens that didn't survive, but the ones that did were all male. At one point, when the weather was milder they wanted to go outside, but now that we have snow and cold they all don't mind being indoors.

Mama also talked about going to see Gamma soon but right now she doesn't have the money to do so. Winter is always hard for us on acct. of higher heating costs.

Christmas Eve update

Well it's almost CHRISTMAS....wow wow wow!!!
Got a brief update on the kitts of Gamma's first.
Turns out the babies Susie had were ALL BOYS. (!!!) :O
When it came time fur the last one to be fixed, "she" was a he! So Ginger is still Ginger (someone said ginger is a spice so he could keep his name), and Daisy is now Danny.
There's what might be bad news too depending on your purrspective. Gamma's been letting out the babies and Susie too. As in OUTSIDE. We don't know if this is good or bad but Gamma figures what has she got to lose since nobody will want grown up kittens. We tried to tell her that they're still adoptable and not to do it but she wouldn't listen. (sigh)

OK and as fur me...well I sleep with mama a lot now! Mama's more relaxed so I feel more at ease.
I wrote a poem fur all of you, hope you like.

Hi efuryone!

I know it's been a while since you heard from me. Got some news, some good, some bad.

First I will share the BAD news. I heard from Sable at long last and due to some unforeseen circumstances will no longer be able to keep in touch with me. It's a shame because I really love her, and she & I are such a perfect fit, but I understand the situation. (I didn't want to share the details unless Sable says ofurwise.)

So, to my furefur love Sable....I LOVE YOU!

Back to being a swingin' single kitty, MOL!

OH ALSO my Gamma may have Scabies! EEEK!! She has to go fur treatment right away. Purr and/or purray!!! She's a good human who's caring for kitties in need and she deserves our help.

OK want some good news?
Ginger is now NEUTERED.
That's right, I said NEUTERED.
It turns out our Ginger is A BOY! RRRRRroww?
When Gamma brought "him" to the vet, they called and said Ginger is a male. MOL! So now Ginger has to have a new name. Gamma can't decide if she'll call him "Pun'kin" or "Jingles". What do you think?

Well I still need to go bug mama, and now I will see mischief i can cause. Bye fur now.

These last 2 days have been really great fur me....my Gotchaversary yesterday, COTD today...lots of treats and wuvin'....I love being me! MOL!!!

I am (or was) Cat of the DAY!!

Mama didn't have time to look at my page yesterday (11/30) much since she had an appointment (she's been depressed) but got a notice this morning I was COTD.

Then I got a notice from the "Forget me Not" group I belong to dated yesterday saying I was COTD. So I don't know which day I am or was COTD but I am SO HAPPY!! PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I hope my sweetheart Sable sees this. I've been trying to contact her and she hasn't answered me. If someone has info can you let me know?

OK wanna hear about GAMMA'S KITTENS? They are getting braver and braver. They sleep on Gamma's bed, they don't run away when she is near, etc. so they are definitely getting tame (?) and they're also starting to want affection more. Gamma is doing a grrrreat job of fostering these babies, even tho they're not really babies anymore. MOL

OK I'm going to see if I can get some treats!

Yay!! My Gotcha Day is here!

Oh I am SOOOOO HAPPYYYY!

Today is my 3rd Gotchaversary!!! I have gotten some special, special cuddle time from mama. She has a big long pillow (I think she calls it a body pillow) and I love to lay on or against it, against her too. I was the happiest cat in the world to be able to snuggle in tight with mama, on my back, LETTING her pet my belly, purring with joy.

Tonight mama has promised me treats, so I am really looking forward to it.

DDP again....WOW!!!

Wow I am DDP again! I have been DDP so many times now I can't even keep count. MOL I'm so grrrrateful!!

Mama got us some more toys to celebrate my DDP honors, and all of us share them. One of the toys is a bird that makes chirping sounds when you touch it. We love to play with that, altho I get bored with it sometimes. Mama also got us a "catnip kiss" ball. Right now none of us are into it, but if I get bored I might try it.

Mama also got some toys and cat food to donate to the local shelter, since she wants to help ofur kitties in need. She just donated some canned cat food to the shelter also, the shredded stuff. Do any of you kitties eat the shredded wet food? We don't like it, but if mama has any more she'd love to give it to some kitties who will eat it.

On behalf of mama and me, I want to say TANK YOU SO MUCH to efuryone who reads my diary, who picks me for DDP, and who's sent me gifts, paw mails, rosettes, and posted comments. You are all furry special to mama and me. We also want to TANK YOU fur your advice to our Gamma. Gamma is so appreciative of any humans or furs who've helped her out. We can only do so much (as can many of you) but even the advice alone is priceless.

I need your advice

Hi efuryone!

I'd like to ask fur your advice on 1 phase of the kitten situation with Gamma.

Susie, the mama cat, is still protective of her babies. (They're about 6 months old now.) If any of the ofur kitties do so much as walk by them, she SWATS at them and hisses & growls. Her latest tactic is she's trying to find ways to take them outside to teach them to hunt. My mama thinks Susie is being OVERPROTECTIVE. She feels she should not be around the kitties, or that something should be done to prevent her from attacking ofur kitties when they walk by, or in the same area as, her kittens. They are old enough now that they shouldn't need her.

WHAT SAY YOU ALL????
Please advise. Last time we asked fur advice on this situation nobody answered so we REALLY would like some replies.

I don't have any news on the kittens or Gamma fur you, except that one of her older kitties is missing and we think she's hiding in the house. Her name is Jackie and she is a small, timid kitty. Jackie has always been timid and tends to hide under the bed a lot. Please purr fur her.

quick update

Just a quick update to let efuryone know that Gamma caught Rascal and he's gotten his shots AND been neutered!
