FLOOD

I was a bit overactive this morning and toppled over the upstairs kitty water-cooler. It emptied 3/4 of it onto the carpeted floor and tray that holds our dry food dishes. Unfortunately, the bowls were pretty full and the kibble in one of them was soaked. Mommy wasn't a happy camper and told us that breakfast would be delayed because she had to clean up my mess!

Obviously, she doesn't like stuff like this happening on work days because it pushes everything off schedule and she's afraid she'll be late.

Oh well, whatever. Accidents happen, Mommy! I exercise every morning and the water-cooler just so happened to be in my way!

Anyway, at least it's Friday! That's a good thing for her. She needs this weekend to unwind.

WAY TO GO, BAILS!!

I give my concats to my floofy bro on his DDP! Way to go, Bails!!

Also, I got my first video too! It's short and sweet! I stare at the camera and then turn my head to the side. That's all. Sampy's long video didn't load up. IE blew it off twice when it tried to load. Mommy pawmises to put in Fire Fox tomorrow and see if that'll help matters.

Anyway, I'm doing good and dealing with this hot weather perhaps the best of all as my fur is the shortest. We've had the AC on most of the time since this heat wave began.

Anyway, it's back to bed for me.

A CAT WITH HEART

The Cats' Meow has an article about "Cats With Heart". Mommy submitted a comment about my heart-shaped bib. Since she didn't see a way to post my purrsonal natural "furmation" in that article, she decided to let everycat see this picture on my page (for those who haven't seen it and for those who did but may have forgotten.) My heart shape can only be seen if I hold my head up like in my no. 2 pic. Enjoy!

Also, everything is going well with me. I eat like a pig and never gain an ounce. I exercise a lot and normally have that Oriental thin physique! I'm blessed!

Anyway, that's about it. It's almost breakfast time, speaking of food!!!

CONCATS MERL!

First of all, I concat Merl on his COTD on May 28th! Good going dude!!!

Secondly, I took a nice long nappy on Mommy's bed and drifted into a dream that something was chewing at my nails. I woke up and there Mommy was giving me a nail trim!!! Can you believe that!!! Can't a guycat sleep in peace!!!

Anyway, she got most of my nails as I was too tired to respond to what was going on. She told me she heard that was the best time to trim a cat's nails if they didn't care for nail trims.

WHATEVER!!!!

Also, my bunny friend didn't show up in the past couple of days. I wonder where he went and hope he comes back.

Lastly, summer is definitely on its way. I saw the first lightning bug a little bit ago! I love watching them flicker on and off!

I also wish everycat and their family a most pawsome and safe Memorial Day weekend!

A VISITOR

We had a visitor in our backyard at dinner time. It was "my" bunny friend again! At first he was in the neighbor's yard and then decided to graze ours too! I got so excited that I lept onto the kitchen counter and watched him from the window. He sat in the middle of the grass and groomed himself just like a cat does! I found this interesting!

Anyway, eventually he left. I can't wait until he comes back again!

Also, Sampy still doesn't care to wrestle with me. I can't wait until his fur grows back. I've tried everyday to wrestle with him, to no avail. He always growls and hisses at me and Mommy tells me to leave him alone on top of that. Neither of them are any fun!!!!

Just so I could have some fun, I decided to steal stuff again. This time it was one of Mommy's sneakers. I grabbed it by the lace and dragged it from the bedroom floor into the hallway before she caught me.

That's about it from me. It's back to bed. Goodnight, everycat!

BREEPING IN THE RAIN

Breeeeeeeeeeeeeeps, breepity breep, brup, brup, brup, meow-wow-eeeeee!

I'm singing in the rain; just trying to cheer myself up. It's raining now and is supposed to do 2 inches per hour. That's not good. I hope our basement doesn't flood like it did in June of 2009 (that was before they put in the new pipes in the street, though). I hope these pipes work during this mess!

The pawsome trade-off will be this weekend; sunny and near 80 dedgrees. I can't wait for that!

Meanwhile, there's not much else going on. I think I'll take a nap.

I'M SAMPY'S CHEST WARMER

As everycat knows, Sampy is missing a bunch of hair on his chest. I've been sleeping with him a lot early in the morning as it's chilly and I figure he can use the extra fur on his chest. MOL!!

Also, I've been doing great and have been a good boy. I also had separation anxiety a couple of times while Sampy was at the cardiologist and in the ER. I was soooooo glad when Mommy brought him back home! I'm also glad he feels better so I can wrestle with him again. It's been hard trying to wrestle with Merl as he has a mean streak.

Well, I'm keeping mine short.

ON MOTHS AND BUNNIES

First of all, my bunny is back!!! I saw him briefly in the neighbor's backyard! Both Mommy and I aren't sure if it's the same bunny or a different one; maybe the one Mommy saw at the side of the road a month ago was a different bunny. We're not sure.

Secondly, I saw a moth and tried to get at it. The only thing, it was on the ceiling above the fireplace mantel. I jumped upon the mantel, tight-walked it among Mommy's angel figurines and jumped onto the clock in the middle. That's when Mommy had to spoil my fun! She saw me sitting on top of the clock and looking up at the moth on the ceiling. She said, "get down now!" I did so and then she tried to get the moth off the ceiling with one of the long-stemmed fake flowers from the big flower pot near the fireplace. She stood on her tippy-toes and gently brushed the ceiling where the moth was and it flew away and was gone.

All that fun stopped by Mommy! I really wanted that moth! Merl and Sampy once told me that moths are yummy!

I hope it comes to the ground so I can find out for myself.

Anyway, I can't wait until the dawn and early evening as that's when the bunny likes to hang out in the neighbor's yard. He doesn't graze our yard as the neighbor's grass is better tasting, obviously.

Well, that's my exciting day! I got to go now as it's late.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAM!!

I'm sorry I picked on Cam this morning! I forgot it was her birthday! I'll be good for the rest of her special day. I won't provoke her nor steal her food nor pee in her litterbox! That's saying a lot for me! She's right. Us young ones should respect our elders! I'll give her the rest of today as sanctuary from my pesky butt!

NO REPLACEMENT BUNNY YET, ETC.

Well, it's been about a week since I wrote about my bunny buddy going to the Bridge. There have been no more bunnies hanging around our yard nor the yard next door.

Anyway, I've been watching a lot of birds and squirrels (there's always plenty of them around here). Those bunnies usually hang around the top of the hill portion of our neighborhood. Mommy's seen them at the top of the hill before.

Anyway, the birds start chirping at 5:00 p.m. and reach a crescendo at 6:00 p.m. I love listening to them sing!

Speaking of birds, Mommy's neighbor has a new pet bird. A lady where he works found it in the office parking lot. He took the bird home and keeps him/her in a covered shoe box with holes in it. He thinks it's a robin, and Mommy thinks it may be a bluejay as a few of the feathers on the top of it's head are slightly blue. Anyway, Mommy said the bird's name is "Fred". Can you believe that!
