I dreamed so much about having some turkey for Catmas, and I got my wish. It was so yummy! And this time I didn't steal my sibs' pieces either!

We had a quiet Catmas too. Merl, Bail & I slept a lot on Mommy's bed while her music played quietly on the CD player.

Also, we got a lot of mistletoe from various friends! Thank you so much! We'll try to send some out tomorrow. We sent a few yesterday and then had to stop as we kept getting the "page not found" messages. More fleas???

Anyway, I'm the spokescat for today as it's getting late. I hope everycat had a pawsome Catmas!

I was downstairs when Mommy brought in the Catmas tree. It was BIG! Bigger than the ones she had the past two years. You see, Behnke's Nurseries where she usually gets her table top Catmas trees, unfortunately ran out. She found the smallest one on their lot which could pass for a table top. Unfortunately, it didn't have a stand on it, and they didn't have anymore stands in stock for small trees. Mommy told me she walked out saying, "Well I guess I'll have to say "Bah Humbug" this year.

Luckily, she found another tree on a lot up the road for a few bucks less. She had the nice gentleman cut a few inches off so it wouldn't scrape the ceiling while it was on the table top. This lot also had tree stands for table top trees. In fact, it looked like a large doggie bowl with three clamps on it.

Anyway, when the tree was brought in the house, of course, I had to check it out. Likewise with the stand.

Mommy sang to me a parody of Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You" Here goes: "Because of you there'll be no Catmas tree downstairs. Because of you I don't want to risk it in the living room. . ."

And she's right. I'll be climbing and swinging on it like the gray kitty on Bail's background and I'd be doing my best to steal the ornaments. And because of this, she put the tree upstairs in the computer room and closed the door. From then on she proceeded to decorate the tree. I'd be lucky if she lets me even look at it.

Lastly, Happy Birthday Mommy! I hope you have a good day!

I got a new word that describes me when I have the cat crazies:

I run throughout the house and the floors shake. I also run and leap on top of kitchen cabinets shaking the dishes therein. I'm a "catquake"!

So when everything shakes in this house lately, it's only me and not an earthquake like we had back in August.

Anyway, I just thought I'd say this. It's been a long week and tomorrow is finally Friday!

Got to run.

I can't believe it! I'm one of the Diary Pics again today! I'm on a roll! Or is it because the Diary Gal has the hots for me or loves the way I write diaries or both of the above!

Anyway, I also got a purrty sparkling emerald from our lovely friend MUPPET! Thank you so much MUPPET for this lovely gift and your kind words for my DDP yesterday (this came in very early in the a.m. today before the Diary Gal's email).

I also thank my following friends for their concats and gifts:

1. BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
2. TABATHA - pawsome pawmail & lovely pic;
3. TIMMY TOMCAT - cool comment;
4. BUGSY - cool comment;
5. COLE - cool Christmas stocking;
6. BELLA - pawsome pawmail.

Anyway, we got tons of rain early this morning and it's supposed to rain all day long and change to snow later on tonight. I don't think we'll be getting much of this snow. I think it'll go to the northern and western parts of Maryland.

Also, because of the rain, I slept late and didn't have the cat crazies. Yep, rain is only one thing that slows me down.

Lastly, there was a wasp in the bathroom. This is the third of those nasty, stingy things that Mommy caught and got rid of. She don't use bug spray because of us kitties. She found this one in the bathroom window. She raised the blinds, and used a folded up washcloth to grab the thing so it wouldn't sting her. She then dropped it in the human litterbox and gave it what is called a "burial at sea".

Mommy says wasps and bees don't belong in this house. She's so afraid that we will play with them and get stung.

Anyway, I'm going to close now as breakfast will be served any minute. YUM-YUM-YUM!

I got an early Christmas present from the Diary Gal! Yep, I'm one of the Diary Pics today! Woooo-Hoooo! Thank you Diary Gal for making my day!

I wrote yesterday about playing with a piece of Mommy's cereal on the kitchen floor. The Diary Gal obviously liked that. Also, my friend NEWMAN wondered if I was playing with a Cherio. Nope, it was one of those that look like the "Chex" kind, but this was cinnamon flavored. I didn't want to eat it, though. It make a great hocky puck!

I also thank my following friends for their kind concats:

1. BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
2. TABATHA - pawsome pawmail and beautiful picture;
3. ELSA - purrty blue rosette;
4. MIRANDA - cool comment;
5. KITCAT - cool comment.

Also, I just heard on the TV that in England they say "Happy Christmas" instead of "Merry Christmas" as "Merry" means drunk or tipsy!

Lastly, I'm going to enjoy my day and catch up on my sleep as I had the cat-crazies in the middle of the night. I think all of us lost a lot of sleep because of me running across the bed, jumping into the window perch, flying down the stairs, flying back up again, giving Cammie Rose a hard time, and then wrestling with Sampy next to Mommy while she tried to sleep. I'M BAD!

I can't believe that Christmas is almost here! Where did the time go??

Also,I've been busy playing and bugging my sister. The other day, I went cat-crazy with a piece of cereal that Mommy dropped on the floor. Merl looked at me like I was crazy. It looks like Bail and I have something in common as he went cat-crazy with a leaf the other day.

Anyway, I'm keeping mine short. I feel a nap coming on. You know, early to bed, early to rise, makes a kitty healthy,happy and wise!

Today and tomorrow, all us kitties are going to write about our Thanksgiving adventures. I know I had the most pawsome time of all:

Mommy's best friend Mary came over around 2:30 and they began the preparation of Thanksgiving dinner. Mary is a vegetarian so she prepared a lot of veggies: Broccoli, asparagus (my fav), and sauteed Portobello mushrooms. She also made a dish of russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, zuchini squash, and acorn squash. Mommy says this was delicious too! Of course, my nose was twitching and my mouth was drooling over the smell of the Bob Evan's pre-cooked turkey that Mommy had to warm over. They also had cranberry sauce, cranberry juice and a home made sweet potatoe pie that her neighbor and his girlfriend brought over as a gift.

I was a good boy when Mary and Mommy sat down to dine,and I watched them from the cat tree in the corner of the dining room. I didn't jump upon the table while they were eating at all. Mommy praised me for this.

Anyway, after a bit, I saw Mommy pick up a couple little pieces of turkey and gave me a taste. YUMMY!! Was that ever good! I wanted more. Of course, Mommy didn't bring me anymore, but at the same time, I saw on a piece of paper towel, more turkey. After they cleared the table, I jumped up and stole all those pieces of turkey that was supposed to be for my sibs. Now, I was a bad boy. A glutton boy!

Anyway, afterwards, we sat in the living room. I decided Mary was cool and sat on her lap as did Sampy. We love our Aunt Mary! She looks like a taller blond version of Mommy anyway.

Bail, Cam and Merl stayed upstairs the whole time; Cam in her bathroom corner, Bail on top of the master bedroom bed, and Merl underneath it. Yep, Sampy and I are the brave kitties and more sociable!

Well, that's about it for my pawsome Thanksgiving adventures! We all had a pawsome time and look forward to this again next year! Of course, that turkey is what I love the most. I could have had a taste of asparagus too, but there wasn't enough of that to go around. Oh well.

I hope everycat enjoyed their Thanksgiving and will be enjoying their Thanksgiving weekend.

Yesterday morning, I was downstairs when Mommy was making her breakfast. She was sobbing when she was putting the cereal and fruit into her bowl and then she yelled and cried loudly when she couldn't get the lid off the jug of milk. She cursed out the company who changed the type of ring on said jug (it used to be the plastic type that you could tear off easily and the type I loved playing with). Anyway, after she twisted the cap a few times, to no avail, she turned the jug upside down and banged said cap on the kitchen counter. The jug crumpled at the top and some milk spewed onto the counter. Fortunately, the lid did come off this time. The whole time while she was sobbing and screaming at the milk jug, I meowed back. I wasn't scared of her, I felt empathetic.

Bail's right, Mommy did sound like a screeching raccoon when she couldn't get the lid off the milk jug. She told me the pain in her wrists was just awful and she was angry at the people who changed the jug to not making it arthritis friendly. A lot of jugs that contain stuff are like that. She says it's a total bummer. For the containers of cranberry juice, she can turn these upside down and bang them on the counter without caving in like the milk ones which are made of a thinner plastic. She also runs the lid portion under hot water which helps and she also has one of those gripper thingys (that didn't work on the milk jug by the way).

Anyway, Mommy feels a little better today. The flair in her wrists, mostly the left one, has gone down. The right one is still tender (but not as bad as yesterday).

Lastly, I helped Mommy make the bed. She hasn't finished it yet as she needed to take a rest.

Have a pawsome day, my friends.

This is a great day even though the weather stinks (rain and cold). Sampy and I are in the Diary Spotlight! How cool is that?? Thank you Diary Gal for this pawsome honor!

I also thank my pawsome friends for their kind words, concats & gifts as follows:

1. TYSON - yummy pumpkin pie;
2. HOOCH -yummy turkey;
3. PIPO & MINKO - cool comment;
4. BUGSY - cool comment;
5. MILO - cool comment;
6. WHISPER - pawsome pawmail;
7. BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
8. TABATHA - pawsome pawmail & pic.

Yesterday, Mommy bought home some leftover salmon from her sandwich yesterday. Yep, that deli near her work place has the best, yummy salmon! Bail also joined in for the salmon pawty! Poor Sampy slept through it.

I'm going to keep mine short for now. Sampy just told me it's breakfast time. Got to run .. ..

I'm in love! I love Willow (a/k/a Torbie Sue)! I want to meet her nose to nose. I want to chase her around in the backyard, and Mommy won't let me. Mommy's a spoilsport and no fun at all!

This afternoon, my heart went thumpty, thump, thump when I saw this beautiful girl cat in our backyard. I call her the "Leaf Girl" because she likes sitting in the leaves. It's usually on Sunday afternoons that are warm fall days such as today.

Oh her emerald green eyes mesmerize me, her mews are so pretty, and I'd love to groom her red floofy ruff .. . . I'd like to sing to her all the love songs I know. She has captured my heart . . . and all I'm allowed to do is look at her and dream and dream and dream . . . not fair, not fair at all.

I saw her first, and before I knew it, my brothers were looking out the storm door at her also. They all were entranced by her beauty, especially Sampy. I told them, she's mine!

Yep, she was sitting on the back porch with Mommy, and she was rubbing all over Mommy's shoes . . .

Anyway, I may as well just dream about her. That's all I can do besides get a little sniff of her off Mommy's shoes . .

Poor me!!!
