Cat of the Day!

Wowza, I couldn't believe it when I saw my face on the homepage today! And I was happy that my pals, Da Tabbies O Trout Towne, are still on the homepage too as Cats of the Week! We're both featured in that magazine that I was telling you about. Monster sent us a couple of copies of the magazine, and guess what? Da Tabbies are going to pawtograph a copy and send it to me, and I'm going to pawtograph a copy and send it to them!

Now, I have something funny to tell you about the homepage. Being Cat of the Day sort of reminds me of the first part of the ads that are right below my picture.

I'll try anything once . . . . . . gold-leafed eyelids!

It happened to me . . . . . . burlesque gave me my groove back!

Her Left Arm!

I knew you cats would want to see a video of me sucking on the MRS. arm. She is usually sitting on the human litterbox when I suck on her arm, and she said we can't video that for some reason.

So, I waited until she was in the DD's office sitting on a chair, and I jumped in her lap and made her roll up her sleeve so I could suck on my favorite arm.

She told the DD to get the video camera, and he got all artsy fartsy and video taped me so you can see me in her lap, and you can see my face in the mirror! I like to knead while I suck, and you can see my paws opening and closing if you look in the mirror.

Our Irish Names

I hope you cats know that St. Patrick's Day will be here soon, and you have to get an Irish name!

I'll tell you about the names we picked:

Samoa McBoa - you already know why she picked this name - she loves boas!

Violet O'Whiner - we all picked this name for Violet because he is the talker in the house. When it is time to eat, he whines until we get fed. It is pretty annoying, but it works!

Gleek O'Hare - Gleek picked this name because he used to protect our old vets from rabbits. They are afraid of rabbits and that is why cats have to spend the night there sometimes.

Inky O'Shea - Inky picked this name because O'Shea means fine, stately. I think he is trying to be H.o.H.!

Newman McNolan - I picked this Irish name because Nolan means famous! And you all know what a famous author I am, and I'm even going to be in a magazine!

Don't forget to pick your Irish name!

I Need an Agent!

I'm going to be world famous when it hits the streets! Are you wondering what I'm talking about? It isn't Poopology - it's even bigger!

Do you remember me telling you that Monster called to interview me? Well, he has interviewed me twice, but he wanted to wait and include me in a big article over at the Humane Society of the United States of America after my e-book came out.

So, he waited until all the hoopla over my book died down, and then his article came out. Here is the on-line version, but he is going to mail me the real magazine!

I'll probably have to pawtograph several and send them out to all my fans. I might even have to send one to my new best friend - Jackson Galaxy!

Monster is going to need an agent too because his picture is in the on-line article. OMC - I just realized my picture is there too. If you click on the little arrow under Monster's picture, you'll see my picture! Kitty Pryde, Harrison, and Da Tabbies O Trout Towne are also mentioned, and there is more about them here (with pictures too):

Jackson Galaxy Loves Me!

Like I was telling you, the MRS. went to see Jackson Galaxy with a couple of other cat moms. They went to the VIP reception and got to take pictures of him and talk to him. The MRS. took one of my photos and asked him if he would pawtograph it.

He wrote:

Jackson loves Newman

And then he signed his name with fancy letters! He said I was cute, but I already knew that. I didn't know he loved me, but I do now!

Then all the VIP people went into the auditorium to hear him talk on Cat Mojo 101. The VIP people got reserved seats up toward the front so they could check out his tattoos. He has a lot of cats all over his arms. He is bald, and when he got sweaty, he wiped his forehead with a bandana. I thought you'd like to know.

The chick from Moderncat was there too. She was in charge and she introduced Jackson to the crowd. There were a lot of men in the crowd too which surprised the MRS.

Jackson talked for over an hour about cats. He said it is important that our humans play with us for at least 15 minutes - twice a day would be purrfect. He said our humans should not be texting, watching television or be on the computer when they play with us. It should be cat play time only!

Then Mr. Galaxy took a few questions from the audience. One guy said his cat sucks on his fingers lots of times during the day. Big deal - I suck on a whole arm!

There were a gazillion cool door prizes, but none of them won anything. They all got goodie bags with cool stuff like a Jackson Galaxy lid that you put on a cat food can, and some tablets that fizz in water and then you spray it on flojectiles and pees to clean them up.

The money that everyone paid to see Jackson was given to three different cat charities in my town. One of the rescue groups even had three kittens there for adoption. I don't know if they found homes or not. The MRS. tried not to look at them because you know how weak she can be.

Mr. Galaxy said his show got picked up for more episodes next year, so we'll all have to watch him!

Cat Daddy!

On Friday night, my MRS. is going with a couple of other cat MRS. to see Cat Daddy - you know, the weird looking dude with the funky beard who carries a guitar case with him.

I hope the MRS. talks to Mr. Galaxy about Samoa cause she has some real issues about boys! I'm sure she will tell him all about me!

Yep, if there is a Cat From Hell in this house, it would be Samoa! I'll tell you all about it on Saturday!

Problems in River City!

Samoa wanted me to tell you that she is not able to invite today's new dreamboats to her group. There are fleas on Catster. She also can't update the group's forum. She wrote to Catster to tell them.

Don't look at me, I don't have fleas! Hey, why am I her secretary?

Samoa already told me I can't be on the Dreamboat list - something about brothers not being eligible. My MRS. thinks I'm a dreamboat. If any of you hot chicks want me as your Valentine, get in line. I don't give out kisses or presents, but I'll still be your valentine if you want.

Oh, and don't expect me to whisper mushy stuff either. I'm not that kind of guy. If you have a nice smelling arm, I might suck on it. I'm mainly one of those valentines that you just look at and think about how dreamy I am, and how cool it would be to play and chillax together.

Gleek, Inky, Violet, and I might have to call ourselves the DBB's - DreamBoat Brothers! MOL!

Pee.Ess. I have magic powers! As soon as I wrote this diary entry, the group problems were fixed. I told Samoa, and she has invited the new Dreamboats to her group.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree!

We probably won't have a real Christmas tree this year because Samoa likes to climb trees.

Firehose!

Guess what the MRS. and the DD brought home tonight? A new sofa for our living room. The room has been empty for three months because they sold the sofa we had in our living room in Kentucky.

Of course, we all wanted to check it out. The MRS. said she was going to have to get a squirt gun to keep us off of it. The DD said we will need a firehose. The MRS. laughed thinking about using a firehose to keep us off the sofa!

Instead, she covered it up. Everything that is good gets covered up in this house. Covered up stuff takes the fun out of it - but sometimes I find a way to get under the cover. The MRS. has it tucked in so tight. I might have to wait until everycat goes to sleep tonight before I figure out how to get under that cover.

The DD said we're going to hire a guard . . . . . .
