This weekend was a busy weekend for Mom and Dad. Here in St. Louis was the Cardinals Winter Warm-up. Mom gave a picture of me to the man I am named after Jason Isringhausen. He said I was CUTE! She also gave a picture to Tony LaRussa and he said I was Cute also, but then we already knew that. Since Mom and Dad were gone so much over the weekend I ruled the house. I am finally over the ring worm and growing fast. I like to attack anyone who is not paying attention to me, especially my dog brothers.

Phew!

I am growing fast, I now weigh 5 pounds 14 ounces. Today I had my last Lime and Sulphur bath to help me get rid of the ring worm that I picked up somewhere. Now my sisters have caught it so they have started to get the stinky baths. Our house smells funny. Dr. Sherry promises that these stinky baths will help us get rid of the ring worm and keep Mommy and Daddy from getting it. Christmas is just a few days away and these brightly colored paper covered packages have started to show up under the trees. I like the noise them make when I play with them. Tigger and Eve tell me that when Grandma comes over on Christmas that the paper is left on the floor for us to play with for awhile. I am so excited about this! Hmm, I think it is time to go play with the packages again. Bye!

Life is hard!

Meow,

My life is very hard. First I get sick with the upper respitory infections and have to be isolated from the other cats at my house for 3 weeks. I get turned loose in the house and only 3 weeks later I get ring worm. I have to go to the vet's office once a week for a lime & sulphur bath. Mom and Dad have given me a new nickname, Stinky, because after my bath I stink. Luckily no one else in my family has shown signs of catching the ring worm. My hair has started to grow back where it fell out because of the ring worm. I hope that this is my last illness, I really do not like going to see Dr. Sherry.

Busy weekend

Wow, what a weekend! Mom and Dad put up Christmas lights this weekend, I think they are cool, but they put them on the outside, how can I play with them. Oh well, Eve told me something about that they would put up some on the inside of the house in the next week or so and also said something about them putting up trees for us to play in. Eve is so cool! Today Tigger and I had a play date in Mom and Dad's bedroom with some furry mice! Dad gave us each one and locked the dogs out so that we could enjoy the mice. It was so cool, I played until it was nap time then I jumped up on the bed with Tigger and we cuddled up together.

Daddy's birthday

Today was Daddy's birthday. I got to give him a present that I helped Mommy pick out for him. I really liked to play with the wrapping paper! It was brightly colored and made noise when I patted it and pounced on it. My Aunt and Uncle were over and I got extra treats because I am sooo cute!

Today I was a real stinker! Mommy was outside talking to a man and when she went to come back in I ran outside on her. I got her to chase me all around in the bushes what fun! I got to enjoy the fresh air but Mommy was watching me closely. She caught me and we came back inside. I tried to share Mommy's dinner but she made me get down. It sure smelled good. Then Daddy gave his leftover turkey-noodle soup to the dogs and I stole a noodle from them, it was good. Oh well I am growing more every day.

My sister Eve has decided that she likes me! We play now, she is so cool! I follow her everywhere.

Today I had my first cat treats, mmmm they were good! My sisters are not hissing at me as much anymore. I am growing so fast, I am almost twice the size as when Mom and Dad brought me home. My paws are healing nicely and I have figured out that with growing I can still get up places that I needed my claws to help me get to last week. I am watching Tigger she sure can jump and I am taking notes so that maybe someday I can be as good a leaper as she is. My dog brothers are nice to snuggle up next to while they are sleeping, they keep me warm at night. Oh well, it has been a busy day.

I got to come out of my room this past weekend! Yeah! My sister Tigger quickly accpeted me. She has this game where she runs through the house and lets me chase her, and if I get too far behind she stops and waits for me to catch up. She is so cool! My sister Eve is slower to accept me, I think that is because she is jealous, because she used to be the baby. She growls at me but is slowly giving up on that because she realizes that I am not going anywhere. Now she only growls at me when I get in her face but she has let me chase her too!

This week since I am over my illness Dr. Sherry said it was time that Mom and Dad could have me declawed so that I would not hurt my sisters and since I do not go outside the house without a leash. Ouch! I did trick them at Dr. Sherry's office though, they thought that I would be groggy after surgery, NOT me I was up being my normal stinker self.

I created a new game today on Daddy. I wait until I hear him coming to my room and I crouch by the door. When Daddy opens the door I sprint out! Then Daddy has to chase me. Funny thing is, when I got to the living room there were other cats here, are those my sisters? Oh well, Daddy caught me and back to my room I go, Dr. Sherry said next week I could play with other cats again, I can hardly wait.

Health update

Today Mommy took me back to the vet, Dr. Sherry, my fever is gone and my nose stopped running! Yeah! Unfortunately that meant that Dr. Sherry could give me my booster shots, I did not like that. I now weigh 2 pounds 12 ounces. Mommy and Daddy are glad that I am feeling better. They said I could meet my sisters next week, I can hardly wait to play with other Cats!
