 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 15th 1982

Likes: She loved her human family and her feline and canine friends. She was especially close to Muffy

Pet-Peeves: She was very skittish around strangers and would take off upstairs and under the bed when someone showed up.

Favorite Toy: She loved to play with foil balls and catnip mice.

Favorite Nap Spot: She liked to sleep in a basket and in a rocking chair on the enclosed porch, and on the organ looking over the back deck.

Favorite Food: Friskies and fancy feast and dry food.

Skills: She was very quick and agile. She could jump in the air and catch foil balls and she would bat them back to you when you tossed them at her.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: Our one and only kitty, Miss Kitty, died suddenly at 12 years of age. We were devasted and missed her terribly. One warm, summer night, my mom was up to my Aunt's house, sitting out on the deck, enjoying the summer evening. They heard this little mew, and what should show up, rubbing against their legs, was this scrawny little tabby kitty. My Aunt did not have a lot of neighbors around her, but the shelter was located down the road. They figured someone had dropped the cat off outside the shelter, and she made her way to my Aunt's house. My mom scooped this little bundle up in a blanket and brought her home.

Bio: Ginger had a very gentle demeanor about her. I don't recall her ever scratching or biting anyone. She was quite sqittish around strangers, but was very loving and affectionate to her family. She accepted the arrival of a dog and 2 other cats and enjoyed their companionship.
In her later years, Ginger developed thyroid trouble, and we had to give her pills every day to control it, plus she endured frequent blood drawings to monitor it.
She started losing weight and tests revealed kidney disease. After a short stay in the hospital on intravenous fluid treatments, we brought her home, but it was obvious that she was too ill to eat or treat. We brought her back to the hospital to have her put to sleep, so she wouldn't have to suffer.
