Meowmy says I am getting better!

I am active just like normal! And when I use the box, I smack the litter around wif my bandaged paw! I can't wait fur this week to pass so meowmy can get this thing off me! But she says I have to leave it on all the way till Sunday!!! I had my furry last pain med (YUK!) last night. Meowmy says she doesn't think I am in pain anymore, but just to be safe she followed doc's instructions to a T.

Oh, I wish my Pumpkin was here to put his paw prints on my cast!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EFFURYBODY

Whether you are man or woman, have humans, furs or both, I wish you all a wonderful and a beautiful Mother's Day. The sun is shining fur mothers effurywhere today. Mother's are what make this world so special.

Black and blue

I am trying to communicate wif meowmy thru my eyes. She now thinks she knows what happened to my paw, it's the only thing that makes sense to her. See, she had pushed the frig door closed and went to the sink and started washing dishes. The bottle on top of the frig slid off and flew and broke all over the floor. Naturally when she heard "CRASH!!!" she ran to it, and whoefur was being nosy she shooed inside. Well, meowmy decided it is FURRY possible the bottle hit my paw when it fell!!! That would be why it was swollen, and after she cleaned up a few hours later she called me and I didn't come to her like usual, and that's when she found me under the bed. Meowmy says if I had skin like humans and no fur, I would probably have a great big black and blue!!! I don't understand that, I thought I was black and white!!!

Meowmy says thank goodness it isn't broken or fractured!!!

I want to thank all my furiends from the bottom of my kitty heart fur showing me so much love and caring. My furiends and my husband of course are truly pawsome!!! And my furmily!!!

I am hobbling around

I'm doing my best to make it to my favorite spots, and staying close to meowmy. I am not up to playing right now, just doing alot of resting and being loved on by my meowmy. Pumkin and Isabelle check on me periodically.

I'm back from the vet

It seems that I have somehow sprained my poor paw! The doc shaved my paw and found no glass, no cut, and took x-rays and there is no fracture. So he wrapped it up real good with what looks like popsicle sticks inside the bandage and said to keep it dry. He gave meowmy pain meds fur me too. And guess what? I get so scared at the doc that they (as usual) had to sedate me! Boy was I scary! They were so scared, all the docs and nurses and I think even meowmy!!! I hissed and spit and growled like the best of 'em!!! They KNOW not to mess with all 8 pounds of me!!!

The only thing keeping me cool, calm and collected right now is thinking of my darling husband. That Pumpkin is such a prize, how did I get so lucky? I love him more and more each day.

P.S. On the way home, I pooped in the carrier!!!

Dang! She says I have to go to the vet!

I can't put all my weight on my paw so meowmy says we are going at 9 to the vet. I am not at all happy about this, I get really scared there and I hiss and growl. Last time they had to sedate me just to check a little skin rash. But meowmy is worried so off I go. I have Angel Trucker watching over me, so it should work out okay. This isn't so bad, she set up food and water right where I've been laying, and she brings the box to me and puts me in! Plus I had a treat of canned turkey yesterday. But she says I have to go.

Update: It is my right front paw

Meowmy found out what's bothering me. She thinks I got glass in my paw. Yesterday, a decorative bottle filled wif peppers came flying off the top of the refrigerator. There was broken glass and peppers and oil effurywhere!Meom shooed us cats away and cleaned it up, but.....I guess I must've got cut. So now I have soaked my paw in furry warm water wif Epsom salt, not once but twice, and she found what she thinks is the cut, but no glass in it. She put kitty bacatracin on it. After the furst soak I jumped into my favorite chair, now after the second I am laying in one of my beds on the floor. The swelling she saw earlier seems to be gone. She is going to do another soak in a couple of hours, but I am now able to put pressure on it. I just hope I can get thru this without having to go to the dreaded vet! Meowmy says we will see what happens.

Update: I came out

But I am still hiding behind chairs and behind the couch. Meowmy picked me up and kissed me a lot. When she put me down she thinks I am walking funny. She picked me back up and checked out each paw but it doesn't seem to bother me and I don't flinch or anything. Isabelle Love hissed at me! Meowmy told her to go inside! Now I am all the way up front under a chair and meowmy brought me some lunch meat (ham) and I ate it. She gave the others some also. Meowmy is still worried but she doesn't know what is happening here. I wish I could talk.

I've been under the bed since last night

Meowmy is furry upset cause I won't come out. She pulled the bed out and pet me and I rolled over and let her erub my tummy. Then she came back and tried to pull me out and I hissed at her! Now I am smack in the middle of the bed where she has to lie on the floor and stretch her arm to touch me. She doesn't know what's wrong and I wish I could tell her.

ONE MORE DAY!!!

Only 1 more day till my husband returns! I am SO excited, I keep chasing my tail and purring fur all the world to hear!!!!! Today will probably go so S L O W because I am counting the minutes!!!! Well, I will have meowmy call him and blow Pumpkin kisses over the phone!!!
