Well I've been a little depressed lately and haven't written in a while. I have to write now though and talk about how much I love my Grammie!
Grammie always knows when I need a pick-me-up and the last time she visited, she made me a tutu! It is lovely and has little bells around it and even if it involves someone briefly touching my belly, I enjoy wearing it so much! Grammie was excited that I like it and is in talks with Mommy to make me a bigger and better tutu...much like the ones that ballerinas wear! But on the day I was presented with my first tutu, I got a phone call from Auntie Penny and from Grandma Gracie. Mommy held the phone to my ear while they gushed over me (as well they should!) and told me how beautiful I was. I listened and made biscuits and purred.
Not to be outdone, Mommy brought me a present last night.....a tiara! It fits me perfectly and it's about time I get a tiara! After all, I AM a princess! I like to hold me head very still and move regally while I wear it so that it doesn't come off. I am so hot in my tiara and tutu!
Last but not least, Buffy and I got to go shopping at Petco yesterday. This is always fun. Not only do I get to supervise what Mommy and Daddy buy, but I also get to inspect the toys and towers. I spotted a hot pink cat bed that would suit me quite nicely. And I can't even count how many people stopped to pay me tribute as I rode down the aisles in my royal carriage (Mommy calls it a shopping cart, but such a shiny conveyance deserves to be called a carriage....especially if I'm in it!).
Oh, and to top it all off, Buffy had to get her belly shaved while we were at Petco. She had mats in her belly fur. EWWWW! Being a beatiful princess, I would never allow myself to get mats, nor would I allow anyone to shave my belly! But Buffy is not the smartest thing in the world and she didn't seem to mind! "SIGH", sometimes I wonder why I allow myself to be associated with her!

Merry Christmas! It was a little different this year with Hendrix not being here, we all miss him! But Mommy and Daddy went out of their way to make the holidays special and today was no exeption. Earlier this week we got an early present: a huge cat tree! Not that I'm a cat or anything, but it is a lot of fun. Sue thinks he owns the top of the tower, but I let him know right away that I will sit on the top of the tower whenever I want! After all, I am a princess!
Mommy took a lot of pictures of me today and will hopefully be putting them on my page soon.....I have to admit, I am adorable!
Merry Christmas!

This morning, even though she was rushing around getting ready for work, Mommy seemed to know that I needed some special attention.
I'd been feeling kind of depressed lately and displaced as the baby of the family now that Jimi is here (even though Mommy always assures me that I'm the Baby!)
So I was sitting in the bathtub hoping for some dripping water when Mommy reached around the corner and showed me my green ho ho scrunchie. I came running and jumped up onto the bathroom counter so she could put it around my ears. Then I preened and walked up and down the counter while Mommy told me how beautiful I was and said "who's the princess? who's the baby?" (of course, that would be me!).
I feel much better and very important now!

Today we went to get a Christmas tree. It was at the same place we go every year. Elvis and Jimi came and they both acted like.....well....animals! Good thing I was there to show them that there was nothing to be afraid of. I mean, we're getting a tree for Santa Claws to put my presents under for goodness sakes! What is there to be afraid of?
So I sat on Mommy's lap during the drive and then walked with Mommy and Elvis. Auntie Mindy held Jimi, who was surprisingly relaxed. Elvis, as usual, made a fool of himself by whining, running so fast he choked himself, and acting like a complete nincompoop. Oh well, what can you expect from a dog?
When we got home, Mommy put my beautiful christmas scrunchi on me. Today we decorated the tree and Jimi was afraid of the Toy Story train. What a baby!
I can't wait for Santa Claws to come.....I hope he brings me a new scrunchi, since Jimi ate one of my favorites and the tinsel is all floppy now.

This weekend, I was very busy. Daddy was painting the bedroom and wouldn't let any of the cats in. Of course that doesn't apply to me since I'm not a cat!
So when he slipped out of the bedroom, I slipped in to begin my inspection of the proceedings.
The room was a lovely shade of red and the bedroom window was open! This window doesn't get opened very often because the screen is not "cat safe". So I guess that would mean something to you if you were a cat.....which I'm not.
I could smell the breeze and it was heavenly! I jumped into the windowsill and promptly slid off with my rear end and paws covered in gooey red paint.
I found a previously undiscovered exit and started making my way down the hall. At that point, I heard Mommy scream and a moment later she caught me picking my way down the hall.
She yelled for Daddy and he tried to get my paws wet to get the paint off. I cried and begged him to leave me alone, but instead, he put me in the bathtub!!!! I continued begging and crying and he kept right on washing me and laughing at me. It was so humiliating.
I will never try to help with painting again.
PS. I did however have the pleasure of watching Mommy crawl all the way down the hall and living room, scrubbing up all of my red paw prints! That was funny! Although, it would have been funnier if it had been Daddy!

Well today I heard Mommy talking to Auntie Penny about getting me a new costume for Halloween and taking me to Petco for the costume contest. I hope I get to be something pretty and pink. Last year I had to wear that ridiculous cow costume! and it was homemade!!!!!
I think sometimes Mommy forgets how important I am.

Today Mommy told me that Grammy was visiting and boy! was I excited! I was planning a long supervised graze in the back yard and maybe some tuna and all of the faucets dripping just for me.
What really happened was not what I was in the mood for! Mommy got out my Halloween costumes and not only did she and Grammie try each and every one of them on me, she gave away my favorite sweater to Buffy. She told me I had "outgrown" it!
So there was Buffy in MY sweater, giving me that superior look that I hate and Mommy and Grammie discussed putting me on a diet and exercising me more! Hello! I played with a piece of kibble for 5 minutes 3 days ago! What more do they want?
Well, I am going to go find a shoe box to stuff myself into and sulk. I sure hope tomorrow is a better day!
