I'm World's Laziest Cat for a reason!

So momcat's been home cleaning and whatnot and yelled for me to come to sunroom because it's a prime sunny spot today. I was snoring so loud she could hear it from upstairs. She said "Ivaaan!" about five times from upstairs. Then she yelled it again walking down the stairs and right in front of my bed. I didn't move a muscle but she could hear me snoring still.

Get this for training humans, she had to tap my shoulder for me to wake up. What can I say, I was dreaming of catnip! MOL.

Then Meowmy carried me upstairs and put me on my Trankie Blankie. I would have a picture but dadcat took the camera this weekend, sorry HL.
And that's why they call me WLC or the World's Laziest Cat!

Just hanging around

Just hanging around enjoying my Trankie Blankie and my Hazel Lucy fur. I've been bad and been reading my furriends' diaries but that's about it.

Christmas in November!?!

Yes it's true!!! Meowmy FINALLY let me open the mystery package that was supposed to be for the holidays! It had TONS of tissue paper on it and smelled like kitties. Meowmy helped me open it and ta-da! It's my very own famous Hazel Lucy Tranquility Blankie!!!!! I know where I'm going to put it, in my sunny room!

But here's the best part... On the manly but pretty (ok, according to Meowmy) blankie, were a couple tufts of fur from Hazel Lucy herself!! I couldn't believe my nose, it was like visiting another kitty but not! Meowmy said I got those as a bonus, that we got those for furree but don't tell anyfur.

Well, have to go break in that blankie and get some white fur on it too.

Happy Hump Day

Okay so around 5 in the morning dadcat half woke up and couldn't figure out what was on his leg - it was me!!! Dadcat was wearing sweatpants and his leg was sticking out so I decided to go for a, ahem, ride. Well dadcat finally woke up enough to realize what was going on and kicked me off.

When the pawrents got up and around, they had the news on and the newscatster announced it was Hump Day. The pawrents laughed that "Oh, that's why Ivan did that!"

Meowmy wanted to know if I smoked a mini-cigarette too. These pawrents think they're SO funny but they're not! Hmph...

Good being bad

Okay so last night we had furrmily time, which is when we all snuggle in bed at night to keep warm. It doesn't happen often so it's memorable when it does. Anyway, I was lounging in between the pawrents with my butt near Meowmy's head. And then she yelled "Ivaaaan!!!! Gross!!!!" Yup, I let one rip. Dadcat was laughing really hard.

Then today when the pawrents got home I was crying for sinkie drinkies. Meowmy turned on the faucet for me like she usually does but I wasn't happy. I cried at her some more. She said "No Ivan, I'm not running my hand under the water just cause you like it. Get up there!". Can you believe that?!? I thought my training was working but no mice - pfffft!

Sunroom for me!

Here's the advantage of being an only kitty: being spoiled rotten. For the last two days Meowmy told me "Ivaaaaan! Sunroom is open for you!" We have a sunny room where I like to sunbathe and sleep. (What? Did you actually think I would do something? Woot! to Tonka.) I didn't move a muscle.

So then Meowmy up and carried me into sunroom to show me that I would like it up there because it was up to my standards. And there I stayed. Now, the fact that she did this one day is pretty good. But two days in a row?!? I think this human training thing is working so thanks for all of your suggestions.

So I'm busy typing from the sunny room and will go back to sleep now to finish the rest of my day.

A real prezzie for me

Meowmy told me I got a package in the mail yesterday. I sniffed it and it smells like tissue paper - meow!! Meowmy said I have to wait to open it because it's my Christmas present - who wants to wait that long? So I've been sweet talking the pawrents, headbutting away and the like to try and convince them to hand it over already.

If anyfur has any suggestions on sweet talking the pawrents please let me know.
